Founded in 1890, the OSU Band was the first band organized in the Pacific-Twelve Conference. Since then, the program has grown into a well-respected program both regionally and nationally. The band program serves over 450 students each year through marching, pep, concert, and jazz bands.
The OSU Marching Band, known as The Spirit and Sound of OSU, is comprised of students from all majors in the University and performs at home football games and select away games. The band prides itself in presenting energetic, entertaining performances, bringing something new to every game, and taking a big part in the game atmosphere at Reser Stadium.
