Oregon State Marching Band New Member Information

Hello!

Thanks for your interest in the OSU Marching Band. We are glad you plan to be with us this fall. Fill out the form below and we will reserve your spot. When we receive your completed form we will send you a letter accepting you into the band. You can take the letter to your advisor at Summer Orientation to get registered for band. Throughout the summer you will receive periodic emails from us with information about the fall.

At this time, auditions are not required of new members. If you have band experience we will provide a spot for you. Previous marching experience is NOT required. When band camp begins, you will play for part assignments and spots within the band.

You will find that the OSUMB is one of the premier instrumental performing ensemble on campus and is open to students in ALL majors. Band camp will begin September 16 (September 10 for percussion and color guard). Once school starts, we rehearse only three days a week—a very manageable schedule no matter what your major may be.
