Oregon State Marching Band Information 2008

I hope your spring term is going well. We are very excited about next year and are ready to get going! Here are some things you need to know about.
Spring Football Game.
The Spring Football game is coming up on May 3—details soon. Save this date!
Color Guard and Percussion Clinics.
Just a reminder that Percussion and Color Guard clinics are coming up May 17. We will send out exact details just before the date.
Reserve your spot for Fall 2008.
We are beginning to accept new members for next fall, finalize the budget, and make travel plans. It will be helpful if you will let us know now if you are planning to be with the band again next year. We are working on what we hope will be an exciting season. It will include 5 home games, the OSUMB Championships, a possible away game at UW and hopefully another sweet bowl trip. As you already know everyone in the band will receive a stipend, probably of $200 or more. It is going to be a great year!
Please register for the class (Music 153/353 11212/11214). Fill out the form below to reserve your spot and please keep your summer contact information up to date. As soon as we have the schedule finalized we will post it on the web and email you.
Band camp will begin September 18 (September 15 for percussion, and color
guard) and when school starts we will be on our regular schedule of Monday
and Wednesday 6:30 to 9:00 pm. and Friday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. This fall we hope
to take a trip to Seattle and hopefully another great bowl game over the
holidays.
