Summer/Fall 2009 Information

Greetings from Corvallis!

As summer draws to a close we hope you are enjoying it and will be with us some upcoming events.

Albany Beaver Huddle
Each summer the OSU Band is invited to perform at the Albany Beaver Huddle. The gig will be short (30 minutes or less) playing familiar OSU Band music. We will even get fed a pretty good meal. The event is Friday evening, August 28 at 6:00 p.m. Please sign up below and we will get you all the details. This is a very important event for us as this group is always very supportive of the OSU Bands.

Oregon State Fair
This summer the OSU Band has been invited to perform at the Oregon State Fair in Salem on Sunday, August 30 at 2:30 p.m. This will be another short gig (30 minutes or less) playing familiar OSU Band music. Please sign up below and we will get you all the details.

Football vs. PSU
We would like to invite all alums and friends to return on Saturday, September 5 for our OSU Alumni Band and Friends Reunion for the OSU-PSU game. Kick-off time will be 11:30 a.m. to accommodate TV. So, we will just play in the stands and not field a band to march shows at pregame and halftime. Call time will be 8:30 a.m. and we will have a rehearsal for all who can make it on Friday, September 4 at 7:00 p.m. We will also run a bar band that evening if there is enough interest. Just sign up on the web form below and more information will be sent to you soon including the method to get cut rate tickets for family and friends.
