Below are final instructions, please read them very carefully because some things have changed.
- We will have a music rehearsal Friday night, September 9 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Gill Coliseum for those of you who can make it. The Alumni Color Guard members who can make it will rehearse at that time as well. You will be able to pick up music, shirts, hats and game tickets at that time.
- If you would like more information about the Alumni Color Guard Nicole Poole
and Amy Jack will be coordinating.
- On Staurday, September 10 please report directly to Reser Stadium and enter
down the ramp, gate 7. We will NOT be using LaSells this year. It would be
best for you to bring only things you will need for the game. I would recommend
leaving cases in your car.
- We will have a light breakfast for you in the basement of Valley Football Center beginning at 8:00 a.m.
- Check in will start at 8:00 a.m. in the basement of Valley Football Center
- Pick up game tickets. music, shirts, hats, and instruments if you need it.
- Rehearsal will begin in Reser Stadium at 9:00 a.m. sharp! It is important that we start on time because our time is limited.
- Lunch will be in the stadium at 12:00 noon along with our Annual Alumni Band Meeting.
- We will play Beaver Walk at the Truax Center at 1:15 p.m.
and then head up to the MU to relax for a bit before game time
- We will do a short concert on the steps of the MU at 2:30 p.m. and then parade to the stadium for a 3:30 p.m. kick off. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
- We will perform shows on the field for both pregame and halftime this week.
- Please turn in all music and school instruments right after the game.
- Remember that parking is on your own, we recommend parking at Benton Hall and walking over.
- Dress is the Orange OSU Band polo shirt, BLACK pants and shoes, and the OSU Bands baseball cap. We will have shirts and caps available for sale before rehearsal begins. Shirts cost $25 and hats $6 and checks can be make out to OSU Bands.
- Due to time and space availability we will NOT be having the picnic after
the game this year.
- If you have made arrangements to stay in the dorms you will be contacted soon with further details.
If your plans have changed and you will not
be with us, please let me know ASAP. If you know of anyone who would like to
participate and has not yet contacted us, please have them do so ASAP, it is
not too late. Please email me if you have any questions. The Band was OUTSTANDING
this past week and I cannot wait for this coming week! I am looking forward to
seeing you on Saturday.
